About Gwel-an-Nans
Gwel-an-Nans is a family-run campsite set in the heart of the Cornish countryside. Located near Bodmin, Cornwall, our farm is nestled amongst the edges of Bodmin Moor. Open all year round, all our pitches have an electric hook-up option and we are dog-friendly – we don’t charge any extra for your fur babies!
Facilities
Site facilities include a toilet block, male and female wet rooms with free heated showers, and a disabled toilet. There is a laundry room with a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a microwave, fridge-freezer, and undercover kitchen washing up area for guests. Early arrivals and late departures are not a problem here as there is a handy holding area for units. The site has a private fresh spring water supply (tested and approved by Cornwall Council) with five standpipes around the site for ease of access. Shops, pubs, and restaurants are all within a 3 to 5-mile drive.

Pay as you Go Electric Cards
Electric:
All pitches operate with Electric Pay as you Go cards
Topping Up:
You will be issued with a card on arrival which you top up as you wish
Top Up's available between 8am - 9pm
*Due to having to come into the house to top up we are unable to offer any top ups outside of the hours stated
SNACK SHACK on site
Thirsty or Hungry and dont fancy the drive to Bodmin, we have a small range available on site:

BBQ HIRE
£10.00 per day
Hire includes 1Kg Charcoal, Marshmallows & skewers.
The Charcoal will deliver an hour of cooking time.
Extra Charcoal 1kg bag is available for £2.50
BBQ hire includes cleaning of the BBQ daily.
FIRE PIT HIRE
£10.00 per day
Hire includes wood, kindling, firelighters, marshmallows and skewers.
For consecutive evening hire it is £5 per extra night for wood, kindling & firelighters.

Pricing:
All pricing is for hardstanding or grass pitches.
Prices include up to two vehicles & four persons per unit, an awning, a pup tent (used for storage ONLY), and any dogs.
From 2024 all pitches will operate with electric pay as you go cards.
